Magical Thinking

How do you see the sun hanging in the sky? With reason and precision or with joy, a lightness of being, and a bit of magical thinking?

Do you see sameness (I can hang like that too), or a divided vision (no way, how, you're different). I think there's some kind of bravery that has to happen to see beyond the explanation, to let there be room for not knowing. Of course there's a reason why one person can walk or not walk or fly, but does the why really matter? I believe it's how we see the world that matters most.

So what if we don't go searching for the story? Maybe instead for the briefest of moments we sustain wonder, suspend judgement, see the joy in the shapes that dance, and just hang out in the isness of it all.
